I’ve been wanting to do this for a really long time. Wait for a snowstorm and go out to shoot. Well, tonight I did. The only trouble is I was only able to fire off about Seven shots in the span of about 20 – 30 minutes before mycamera’s battery died. The snowfall had subsided and the main roads near my place were plowed. The biggest lesson learned tonight, MORE is better than less. If I had my extra battery I would’ve been out for twice as long with twice as many images to work with. The other thing that’s becoming more and more obvious as time goes on is that I could really benefit from having a camera that shoots both video and photographs. The only trouble with that for me is that I find Nikon’s line of D-SLR’s lacking when compared to Canon’s line of D-SLR’s. All I’m doing at this point is waiting. Maybe test drive a few cameras in the coming spring to see if there’s anything truly worth falling in love with. Hopefully the images are pretty enough for you.
